Skip Bayless didn’t take long to return to his shenanigans after the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Washington Commanders by a landslide score of 45-10. Of course, Bayless is a happy camper right now, and he might have forgotten about the time he threw Dak Prescott’s jersey in the bin.

Alas, he comes forward to share his thoughts and rub the Cowboys’ victory on their haters’ faces. At this point, Bayless should consider doing PR for the Cowboys franchise. He tweeted on X and got netizens chatting.

Skip Bayless, the relentless Cowboys fan

Bayless touches upon the view that the Cowboys can only beat the inherently weaker teams. For some people, the game against the 49ers was a perfect way to support this argument. But Bayless thinks the Cowboys can beat anyone regardless of their stature. He also thinks that the Dallas Cowboys have turned into a Super Bowl team, but that remains to be seen.

His tweet says, “GO AHEAD, TRY TO DISMISS US AS JUST BEATING UP ON BAD TEAMS. NO, WE OBLITERATE WHATEVER TEAM HAS TO ENTER OUR HOUSE. WE HAVE TURNED INTO A SUPER BOWL TEAM, RIGHT BEFORE THE EYES THAT HATERS KEEP ROLLING AT US.” In all caps.

This came after the legend Magic Johnson tweeted on X.

Bayless may be right this time (maybe not about the Super Bowl part). He’s generally correct, considering the kind of game the Cowboys had, especially DaRon Bland. He is the one doing more than what his job description says.

DaRon Bland is breaking the NFL

DaRon Bland put all the rules, regulations, cliches, and orthodox plays to rest in the game against the Commanders. This game marked a special spot in the history for Bland. He became the player with the most pick-six return touchdowns in the league. He has five pick-six returns in his career so far. Interestingly, he joined the league in 2022, and within this short time, he made history.

Also, despite being a cornerback, Bland has more touchdowns this season than Travis Kelce, Austin Ekeler, and Davante Adams. The player left the veterans to dust, though by a small margin. People saw a glimpse of his skills when he picked up the pass from Sam Howell, ran for the end zone, and succeeded.

DaRon Bland now has six touchdowns and came out of the game with 10 tackles, with seven tackles on his own. The only player from the Cowboys to tie with Bland is CeeDee Lamb.
