Fans, teammates, and the football world. As Aaron Rodgers celebrated his 41st birthday, social media buzzed with tributes from all corners. But one voice was curiously absent. Was it intentional or just a coincidence?

As Rodgers enjoyed birthday wishes from the football world and beyond, GF Mallory Edens was busy sharing moments from her life. And they were just not with him. On her Instagram story, Edens reposted a photo from Nina Dobrev, who shared a November recap captioned with a bittersweet “so long November 👋🏼✨.” The post featured a picture of Edens, Sarah Jordan Buss, and Sarah Adina Dolgen, which Edens shared. But not a single mention of Rodgers! Even on Thanksgiving, when fans might have expected a cozy couple’s post, they didn’t get any.

Edens opted for a solo shot with her dog, Prince, captioned, “My besties.” Rodgers’s absence didn’t go unnoticed, fueling speculation about their relationship. Mallory and Aaron’s rare public appearances and lack of social media interactions often spark curiosity. In early 2023, reportedly their relationship started casually. Yet over the past year, Edens attended Rodgers’s games, offering quiet support from the stands. A-Rod, meanwhile, is no stranger to public scrutiny.

His highly publicized relationships, including the one with actress Olivia Munn, have often drawn attention to his personal life. Munn once revealed Rodgers’s estrangement from his family, a situation that reportedly began long before their relationship.

Rodgers has since described the issues as “deep-rooted,” distancing himself from the drama. But with his career now at a crossroads and the Jets struggling, fans began wondering: is the quarterback’s low-profile love life a shield from the spotlight or a sign of deeper struggles? However, the Jets seem to be on A-Rod’s side for now.

Jets show faith despite Aaron Rodgers’s struggles

While Edens remained silent on Rodgers’s birthday, the New York Jets made their support clear. The team’s social media accounts celebrated the QB with a birthday post, underscoring their support for the future Hall of Famer despite a rough season. Rodgers, who has thrown for under 200 yards in four games this year, has faced increasing criticism. Yet, interim coach Jeff Ulbrich confirmed that Rodgers will remain the starter, emphasizing, “We believe he gives us the best opportunity to win.” However, his performance against the Seahawks added to the scrutiny.

The Jets worked really hard to lose. From a commanding 14-0 lead to losing 21-26, it does take a lot to disappoint fans like that, doesn’t it? Rodgers missed a critical pass that could have changed the game’s momentum. He overthrew a wide-open Garrett Wilson in the end zone. If he hadn’t missed, it would have extended the Jets’ lead to 28-7. Instead, it resulted in a costly interception. Which culminated in Leonard Williams‘s record 92-yard pick-six and shifted the game in the Seahawks’ favor. As the Jets fell to 3-9.

As Aaron Rodgers turns the page on another year, the pressure mounts both on and off the field. Can the four-time MVP rally his team and quiet the doubters? And will Mallory’s reserved approach to their relationship endure the spotlight? For now, the quarterback’s future remains as uncertain as the Jets’ playoff hopes.
