The New Orleans Saints are facing flak right now. Well, not the team itself, but the Saints’ wide receiver Michael Thomas sure had a hard time. But it didn’t last for a long time. Some news has been circulating the internet regarding the WR, and at some point, the incident also involved the Louisiana Police. Though the mishap isn’t very serious right now, it may cause some problems because the Saints vs. Minnesota Vikings game is just a few blinks away.

Fox News gave an update on the Thomas situation a couple of hours ago. Though he is not in any immediate danger, his neighbors sure would take heed in the future. He was locked up for a few hours, but luckily, no immediate harm came to anyone, and everyone was safe. However, there might have been damage to a truck.

Apparently, Thomas started yelling at the construction worker because he parked his truck in front of his house, blocking him. Reportedly, Thomas threatened to harm the worker. When the victim pulled out his phone to record the altercation, Thomas reportedly got upset and decided to throw a brick at the windshield of the victim’s truck. He then allegedly shoved him. Also, he knocked the phone out of his hand because Thomas didn’t want to be recorded.

Thankfully, things are going well for the Saints and their WR. Hopefully, this doesn’t hinder Thomas’ participation in the next game against the Minnesota Vikings.

What now for the WR? Is everything back to normal now?

Hopefully, the WR and the victim will hash everything out, and things will return to normal. As far as his professional career is concerned in 2023, he has scored just a single touchdown in the season and has made 38 receptions this season with 439 yards to his name, averaging at 11.6. The team is going hot right now, and it would be preferable for them to avoid any kind of distraction.
