Last week’s blowout defeat compounds the issue, as it comes on the heels of an uncharacteristic loss to the New York Jets earlier in the season. Notably, Sunday’s loss knotted up the NFC East race with four games remaining.

Well, this loss reminded the fans of the four consecutive losses of the Eagles last season, including the Super Bowl. They don’t want the history to repeat itself and for that reason, one of them lashed out on the opponent team’s fan, right in the stadium. The video has been garnering a lot of views since then.

In the video, both fans can be seen punching, kicking, and choking each other out. The brawl got so serious that amidst the chaos, they even dropped the table that was kept beside them. Moreover, both fans were surrounded by an arch of people, recording and shouting at them. Even the netizens had their minds blown after the video was released.

One of the fans made a joke about how the Eagles lost twice on a Sunday night.

So, the fans were amazed to see a fight breaking out in the stands after the Eagles faced their second loss in a row. A similar situation happened in 2022 during the teams’ game as well.

The rivalry goes back to the past

Back in November 2022, the Dallas Cowboys secured a win against the Philadelphia Eagles by a whopping score of 51-26. This enraged a faithful Eagles fan, but he had to face the fury of a Cowboys fan. In a disturbing incident at the stadium, a Cowboys fan was seen aggressively approaching an Eagles’ supporter and initiating a physical altercation.

The confrontation escalated to the point where punches were thrown, ultimately causing the Eagles’ fan to fall to the ground. While it’s essential to emphasize that any form of fighting is not acceptable, the prevalence of such incidents at NFL stadiums raises concerns about fan behavior. Moreover, it also creates a sense of hazard for the safety of the other fans present.

There are times when people get agitated for their beloved teams. But violence is never the way to resolve the differences.
