The way Nick Sirianni has turned the Philadelphia Eagles into an NFL powerhouse in his 4 years at the club, it was only a matter of time before he got his flowers. Team owner Jeffrey Lurie had already hinted at an extension last month at the NFL’s annual meeting in Palm Beach, Florida. And within a month, he has delivered. Sirianni was set to enter the final year of his 5-year contract signed in 2021. Sooner or later, the Eagles had to address his future anyway. The day they picked was May 19th, as Lurie put to bed any rumor surrounding Sirianni’s exit from the Eagles.
“As an organization, we have always strived to create a championship culture of sustained success. Nothing is more important to fostering such an environment than having tremendous leadership. Nick has embodied everything we were looking for in a head coach since we hired him four years ago. His authentic style of leadership, football intelligence, passing for the game, and growth mindset have helped to bring out the best in our team.” Lurie wrote in a statement brimming with excitement after the Eagles announced a multi-year contract extension of Nick Sirianni.
For now, they haven’t yet shared the details behind the contract extension. Given Sirianni’s 5-year contract was believed to be worth $35M, this would surely be an upgrade on the former. Sirianni was previously earning approximately $7M annually. And he was also ranked the 11th highest-paid coach in the NFL. Apart from his probable salary discussions, Sirianni’s net worth could also increase significantly. In 2025, he was projected to be worth around $10M. But after this deal, he is expected to be worth way more than just $10M. Well, to be honest, Sirianni deserves this extension.

He has filled the Eagles roster with great talent everywhere. The team is full of individuals with a drive to win it all. And after coming so close to a Super Bowl title in 2023, Sirianni returned to the biggest stage and completed his unfinished business. His Eagles thrashed the 3-peat chasing Kansas City Chiefs while showing the NFL how ruthless they can be. Besides just delivering the Super Bowl in his 4th year as an NFL coach, Sirianni has installed a winning culture in Philadelphia. In his 4 years, he has shown maturity beyond his experience, entering the record books in multiple instances.
