Ameer’s father Kareem Abdullah is an Imam and manages multiple roles, including leading daily prayers as an advisor of the religion. Talking about his youngest child, Kareem said, “Ameer was very perceptive. He didn’t talk as much as the others. He was just always observing.”

Remembering his son’s football skills and strength, the proud father remarked, “He studied all the positions. He knew the blocking schemes, knew where every player should be.” The Raiders’ #8 has played almost every position be it quarterback, wide receiver, corner, and safety.
