How does Brandin Cooks remain indebted to his parents for his NFL dreams?
Earlier, in 2017, during a discussion with Matt Dolloff, CBS Boston, Cooks applauded his mom, as she is his biggest inspiration. Brandin revealed that his mom taught him the importance of determination and hard work. “[My work ethic] came from my mom, raising three boys on her own, working early mornings, multiple jobs … she didn’t sign up for that – I signed up for football,” he stated. Besides that, he also disclosed his belief in his football skills. “So if she can do it, I can do it too,” he further remarked.

Such a remark truly shows his deep respect, gratefulness, and affection for his mom who has been by his side throughout his life. Not only this, the NFL mom-son bond went viral in 2015, when former Saints first-round pick gifted his mom a luxurious house. Besides this, his unique bond with his mom also caught his attention in 2014. On the occasion of Mother’s Day that year, NFL WR presented his mom with a Mercedes car.
Not only the NFL veteran is grateful, but Andrea also never failed to appreciate her son. Earlier, in May 2017, during a discussion with Mike Reiss, an ESPN reporter, she adored his presence and maturity.

“He always used to tell me, ‘Mamma, I’m going to take care of you,’ even when he was little. I have four boys, and he’s my baby. I always tell Brandin he’s a young man but has an old soul. It’s like he’s been here before,” she asserted.
While his mother is there for him always, Brandin also remembers his dad when he comes down on the NFL fields. He harbors a deep wish. That is, his father could see him play football both in college and the NFL. And, for sure, Brandin’s dad is watching him from above, feeling proud as he is achieving such great milestones.
