Previously, in an interview with Kens5 in February 2024, she revealed the reason why he never forgets to appreciate his roots. His mother revealed that she taught him the importance of staying connected to his original roots, Alamo City. “He always gives credit to where he came from. I told him to never forget where you come from,” she stated.

Not only this but during an interview with Kens5, she also disclosed her NFL aspirations that Spencer has had since childhood. “He told me since he was 4 years old: ‘Mom, I’m gonna someday play in the NFL.’ When they are little you kind of patronize them and say, ‘Of course you can do that. You can do whatever you want.’ Over the years that was his constant. ‘OK, if that’s what you want, let’s go get it. Let’s put in the work,” she added.

Not only his mom, but Spencer Buford is also grateful to his mom. He also adores his mom for being with him throughout his life journey. Back in May 2020, on the occasion of Mother’s Day, Buford shared a heartfelt post for his loving mom.

Along with sharing the adorable snap featuring them giving warm hugs, his cheeky post caption melted many hearts.  “Through thick or thin…hell or high waters…I can’t thank god enough for allowing me to call this beautiful woman my mother,” he penned down.
