As a junior in 2019, Sanders delivered some impressive stats – 66 tackles and 15 sacks. Like, he was practically living in opponents’ backfields.

And with TJ Sanders’ talent – it was only a matter of time before college scouts came knocking. He became one of the – top defensive tackle prospects. 247Sports Composite ranked him as the 48th-best prospect in North Carolina and the 60th-best defensive tackle in the country.

With numbers like that – it’s no shocker, South Carolina came calling. He enrolled at the University of South Carolina in January, after graduating early from high school to take his game to the next level. Plus, the Rivals ranked him a solid – 39 in the whole state.
