Amy and her sister Susie received a one-third share of the Titans and a third of KSA Industries. The remaining stakes were divided into three 11% shares among Bud’s wife and his late son, Kenneth Adams III. Initially, the family designated her sister, Susie Adams Smith, as the controlling owner of the Titans. At the time, Susie’s husband, Tommy Smith, served as the team president.
However, in 2015, the Adams family restructured the ownership, positioning Amy as the majority owner. They also brought back Steve Underwood, the former Titans CEO, from retirement to serve as team president, while pushing the Smiths aside.
