Who is Ben Bredeson’s Wife, Tatum Skaggs? 

Tatum is also in the line of sports just like her husband. She was born on November 13th, 1998, and played ice hockey for the USA. She’s not your average athlete either. A standout international hockey player representing the US, she has showcased her skills during the 2023 International Series. However, she is not just a sportsperson scoring goals! She is also into academics and completed her studies at Ohio State University while balancing her hockey career.

What does Tatum Skaggs do? 

Skaggs is a star ice hockey player and represented Ohio State University in several games. From 2020 to 2021, she had several career honours, such as All-WCHA Third Team (2018), 2x WCHA Forward of the Week (11/20/18, 12/17/19), 3x WCHA Offensive Player of the Week (10/3/18, 1/16/18, 2/6/18), and WCHA Final Faceoff Most Outstanding Player (2020), among many others.

As a junior, she appeared in all 38 games, and as a sophomore, she appeared in all 35 games as per her Ohio State roster. She also spent time teaching special education in schools around Columbia, and her favourite team was the Washington Capitals, while her favorite athlete was Alex Ovechkin. She also studied Special Education as a major at Ohio State University. She changed her title to Bredeson after the wedding, and her Instagram is private, so more information on her personal life is not readily available.

How did Ben & Tatum Skaggs meet? 

Ben disclosed their meeting story in one of his Instagram posts dedicated to Tatum. He wrote, “You have been a part of my life since we were 8 years old, and we have grown together from friends to soulmates. I cannot overstate the impact you’ve had on my life and all of the joy you have brought me during that time. Falling in love with you was the easiest thing I have ever done, and I can’t wait to marry you one day! I love you, Tatum.”

This post was for the day he proposed to her back in March 2024. They likely met through the connections at the University of Michigan, where he was training to become a footballer. Finally, they announced that they had gotten married in June 2025 and posted the same on Instagram. Ben also made a separate post about their wedding and declared the date of their marriage, which was 6 June 2025. The event took place in Providence Vineyard in Illinois.
