Well, that’s the true story of the Green Bay Packers placekicker, Brayden Narveson. While Brayden played it cool, his wife was over the moon because it was surely a homecoming for her.

Narveson’s journey from an undrafted free agent to becoming a part of the Super Bowl-winning team was not easy. But 2024 turned out to be a year of pure happiness and love for the kicker. From joining the Packers to walking down the aisle, everything lined up perfectly for Brayden Narveson, changing his life, both on and off the field.

On July 23, 2023, the Packers player went on his knees and pulled out a ring proposing to Shelby Narveson. With a beautiful ring, a beachside date, champagne, and their closest friends cheering them on, Brayden asked his girlfriend to become his wife. He posted a carousel of the evening with the caption, “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you!! You’re the biggest blessing in my life and I am forever thankful for you! I LOVE YOU!!!”

And soon in the spring of 2024, Narveson had a conversation with Packers’ assistant special teams coach Byron Storer. When the Tennessee Titans’ former free agent told about the interview to his wife, she said, “You’ve got to be kidding me.” And interestingly, all this happened when the duo had just come back from their honeymoon in Mexico. Well, Narveson surely married his lady luck!

Growing up in Prescott, Wisconsin, a small town on the state’s western border, Shelby always supported the Packers. And it’s not only her—her whole family is madly in love with the green jersey. And what she didn’t see coming was the team she was cheering for would become her husband’s team.

Shelby not only married the love of her life but also got to live out her own dream. According to Narveson, his wife is just so thankful for him. She proudly tells everyone about the Packers’ player and loves cheering him from the sidelines. When the player joined the Green Bay, Shelby just couldn’t control her excitement. Talking to Brayden, she said, “I’m going to be the coolest person in my hometown!”
