James Gladstone is the new General Manager of the Jacksonville Jaguars! And, behind his career milestone, is his wife, the driving force. The Jaguars owner, Shad Khan, attributes Gladstone as “a class ahead” in vision and understanding of the league. Previously spending nine seasons with the Rams, he accumulated four NFC West titles, six playoff appearances, and even a Super Bowl LVI victory. Being a Westminster College graduate, he also earned a master’s in Education Administration. Prior to joining the NFL, he coached high school football while working in education at St. Louis. He is married to Julie Gladstone, an attorney, and they have one daughter.

Who is Julie Gladstone?

Just like James, his wife, Julie Gladstone is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. Completing her schooling at Lindbergh High School, a public school in St. Louis, she received her undergraduate degree from Westminster College, Fulton, MO. While she initially attended Mizzou, she disliked the lecture setting and transferred to Westminster College, majoring in Political Science and French.

With this, she prepared herself for law school at Washington University, earning her J.D. in 2016. Currently, she is working as an employment attorney at Ogletree Deakins in Los Angeles, CA. She takes to represent employers in single-plaintiff and class-action lawsuits, under her working domain.

Beyond this, Julie is also engaged in philanthropy work. Connected with non-profit organizations The St. Louis Suit Project, and Both Ends Believing, she is committed to the better good of the society. Her guiding philosophy is, “Be humble: You could always be wrong,” which she closely practices in her daily life.

Julie and James Gladstone may have initiated their relationship during their time together at Westminster College. During his days there, James was a two-time football team captain and also a BSN All-American wide receiver. Across his tenure with the Rams and now with the Jaguars, Julie has remained his steadfast support.

The Gladstones’ daughter completes their beautiful family together. Even professionally, Gladstone is covering significant milestones, keen on rebuilding the Jaguars. He is poised to collaborate with Head Coach Liam Coen, Executive VP Tony Boselli, and Senior VP Tony Khan. Reflecting on it, Shad Khan remarked, “It’s going to be fun watching James work with our leadership team, but most of all, it will be rewarding.” And, in his new venture, his wife and daughter will remain as James’ foremost support system.
