Born on Dec. 12, 2001, she started playing recreational softball when she was just five years old. She kept her pedal on the gas and continued to play travel ball when she turned nine.

She led her high school team to three district championships and etched her name in the All-County Team (2017-2019) three times. Marie was also named the 2018 County Player of the Year. She also played golf during her high school days.

Her junior year saw Marie recording 28 hits, six doubles, three home runs, and 25 RBIs, while tallying a trio of multi-hit games. In her final season at the Trojans, the 24-year-old was awarded a place in the All-Sun Belt Second Team. She scored nine home runs to rank 15 in the Sun Belt Conference while sitting 16 in runs scored (37).

She completed her Bachelor’s degree in criminology and her Master’s of Science in criminal justice at Troy University.
