Craig Morgan will be performing the national anthem before the kickoff at Paycor Stadium for the Steelers vs Bengals game. He will set the momentum for the thrilling game, and more than 60,000 fans will witness the melody echo through the stadium.

Who is the National Anthem singer?

Craig Morgan is an American country music singer with a career spanning over more than two decades. Morgan entered the music industry in 2000 with his debut album titled “Craig Morgan.” But his compositions became chart hits after 2002, as he released three studio albums: I Love It (2003), My Kind of Livin’ (2004), and Little Bit of Life (2005). Then, in 2008, he signed with BNA Records and released That’s Why.

One of the songs, “That’s What I Love About Sunday” from  My Kind of Livin’, released by Craig Morgan in 2005, was at the top of the Billboard country charts for four straight weeks. During his two-decade career, Morgan has charted seventeen times on the Billboard country charts, become a Grand Ole Opry member, and earned the USO Merit Award.

Apart from his music career, he has also served in the army and was re-enlisted in the Army Reserve in July 2023. He has a long connection with the army and has performed several times for them, including participating in USO tours.

How much do national anthem performers earn?

Singers usually charge an appearance fee for such a performance, and Craig Morgan charges anywhere from $40,000-$74,999 for a concert. But that’s not the case with the national anthem performance for the NFL. There is no such thing as appearance performance when singers perform at the NFL, as they are offered a union-scale payment, which is a minimum guaranteed compensation under union contracts.

But Morgan wouldn’t be bothered about the performance fee at all because when it comes to the NFL, it’s all about exposure. Apart from the 60,000 live fans, Morgan will be seen by millions at home. This causes a spike in the performer’s popularity. But it’s not limited to this only.

After seeing a performance, people soon start searching for the singer, which leads to increased YouTube views, Spotify streams, and other music streaming platform activity. So, don’t be surprised to see a rise in the current 346,000 subscribers of Morgan’s YouTube channel. A similar pattern was seen after

Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl LIX performance, which led to 175% streaming spike on Spotify.

What is Craig Morgan’s net worth?

Craig Morgan’s net worth is $4 million. A big part of this net worth comes from his two-decade-long music career, streaming revenues, tours, album sales, and royalties. Many of his popular songs, like That’s What I Love About Sundays, have more than 45 million views on YouTube, contributing significantly to his income.

His upcoming performance on Thursday can act as a boost in Morgan’s career and can also lead to a rise in his net worth.
