Travis Kelce is heading to yet another Super Bowl. His fourth one in the last five years. And his mother, Donna Kelce, will be there once again to support him. But turns out she may not be in the luxury suite like she always is this time around. Travis Kelce’s net worth is approximately $40 million, and his girlfriend Taylor Swift is a billionaire. Yet, Mama Kelce might have to ditch the luxury suite and sit out with the Chiefs Kingdom. And it’s a pretty valid reason.

Donna Kelce and Taylor Swift, in bright red colors, supporting the Kansas City Chiefs from the suite has become a prominent and regular occurrence. Mama Kelce has been doing that for years, whether for Travis or the Eagles center Jason Kelce. However, come Super Bowl Sunday, she might not be in that suite alongside Taylor Swift (considering the popstar makes it). And it’s all thanks to how “pricey” Super Bowl LVIII will be.

For the first time in NFL history, the Super Bowl will be held in Las Vegas at the Allegiant Stadium. Sin City is expensive as it is. And with this edition of the Super Bowl, there’s more than one history-making headline. The average ticket prices are expected to be higher than previous editions – ranging from $10,527 to $12,082. Per TickPick, Super Bowl LVIII is already the most expensive to date. And according to Donna Kelce, “The boxes in Vegas are multi-million dollars.”

With ticket prices already soaring, the prices for the suite aren’t any lesser. Suites at the Allegiant Stadium range from $1.4 million all the way up to $2.5 million. Considering that, I have a feeling I’m not in a box,” said the 71-year-old mother of footballers. Donna Kelce couldn’t stop laughing while she told her reasons, and the media members couldn’t believe her either. “As far as I know, I’m in the stands,” she said, regaining her composure.

“It is a pricey Super Bowl,” she stated, and nobody could’ve argued with her. During his time with the Chiefs, Travis Kelce has broken several records, won many personal accolades, and two Super Bowls. Given his multimillionaire status as a result, a seat in the suite for Mama Kelce will likely be on the cards. And considering the hype around the game and what Kelce said after Swift’s Grammy winnings, he would want his family (and Swift) to have the best possible experience.

However, with all this talk about Taylor Swift, will she even be in Las Vegas on Sunday?

On February 4, 2024, Taylor Swift became a 14-time Grammy winner, becoming the first artist to win the Album of the Year award four times. Talking about this in an interview, Travis Kelce said, “She’s unbelievable, she’s rewriting the history books herself. I told her I’ll have to hold up my end of the bargain and bring home some hardware, too.” As he prepares for his fourth Super Bowl, his girlfriend is in Tokyo, kicking off the Eras Tour in 2024.

As reported by Fox News, there’s a shadow of a doubt about Swift’s appearance in Las Vegas. When asked if Swift had given him a pep talk, Kelce revealed, “No, no, she hasn’t. She’s just working on entertaining [her fans], making sure she’s ready for her performances and everything. But the Super Bowl, we’ll worry about if she can make it.” But can she make it?

Her last show in Japan is on February 10. Assuming the concert concludes at 9 p.m. Tokyo time, she’ll have to hop on her private jet and cover a 12-hour journey to Las Vegas. Given the 17-hour time difference between the two cities, Taylor Swift could reach Sin City as early as 24 hours before the game.
