Higgins returned to practice last Thursday, and by Friday, he was back on the field, which is a huge positive. He hadn’t practiced since September 5th, and after warming up before that brutal 26-25 loss to the Chiefs, Taylor said things were “trending in a positive direction.”
We’re talking about a guy who posted at least 908 yards and six touchdowns in each of his first three seasons. The Bengals could really use that right now. Especially Joe Burrow, who’s surely not enjoying how his ‘redemption’ season is panning out to be.
And Tee Higgins? Well, let’s just say he isn’t just playing for the team—he’s playing for his future too. It’s a contract year, and we all know how motivated guys get when there’s big money on the line. Last season, even in just 12 games, he racked up 656 yards and five touchdowns. No wonder he’s itching to add more to that stat sheet, especially with the stakes so high.

Tee Higgins is ready!
Tee Higgins is gearing up for his 2024 debut against the Commanders on Monday Night Football. At least that’s his “plan” as he said it on Friday. And now, Zac Taylor’s comments make it highly possible for the plan to be realized. You can just sense the excitement in Who Dey Nation!

No one ever welcomes a setback during a practice day. But Higgins tweaked his hamstring during one of those sessions on September 5. When it happened, he said, “Didn’t think it was anything.” Fast forward to now, and it ended up sidelining him for two weeks. That’s the thing with hamstrings—they’re tricky, and even the smallest misstep can keep you out.
But now? Tee Higgins calls himself “100 percent. I feel great.” He’s ready to stretch those legs and get back to business. After all, it’s still early in the season, and Higgins is determined to make the most of what’s left.
