At some point in history, the Miami Dolphins used to be one of the few undefeated teams in the league. This followed a few bad years when they became one of the worst teams in the league. In the past, the Dolphins struggled to have a winning season. So much so that in the past 23, the Dolphins managed to have only 10 winning seasons.

Since Dan Marino, a lot has changed. But for the last 3 years, the Dolphins are turning it around, and Mike McDaniel might have a lot to do with it.

The Miami Dolphins: Finally turning it around

The Dolphins are having a dominating season, to say the least. The fastest offense in the league is having its 4 straight winning season, including this one. The last time it happened was the 1997-2003 seasons, and this is the Dolphins’ longest winning streak in the last two decades. The Dolphins are 9-3 now and they have joined the ranks of the Pittsburgh Steelers, who had 3 consecutive winning seasons.

In 2020, they finished 10-6 while in 2021 and 2022; the Dolphins had a 9-8 record. At present, the Miami team is doing fairly well compared to their past performances. The going just seems to get better for the first team in the AFC East.

The Dolphins won the game against the Commanders by a landslide, and are on a 3-game win streak. What’s more, theey’re currently second in the AFC, after the Indianapolis Colts. As expected, the credit heavily goes to Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill.

Tyreek Hill scored two long touchdowns, thanks to the Miami QB1. The first touchdown was a 78-yard pass from Tagovailoa. Hill proved that he is one of the best receivers after he caught a 60-yard pass in the second quarter of the game.
