We often see the gold medallist gymnast Simone Biles at the Packers games supporting her husband, Jonathan Owens. Biles and Owens met on a dating app called Raya, which is catered to serve HNIs. Shortly after, both got married and are leading a prosperous life together. However, Jonathan Owens came on the “Pivot Podcast” and said that he didn’t know who Simone Biles was before he met her.

This might have irked Unc and Ocho as they went online after the Saints and Rams game concluded and had a chat about it. Safe to say, both have their qualms about the fact and they voiced their opinion on their podcast Nightcap.

Unc and Ocho have qualms with Jonathan Owens

Upon learning that Owens didn’t know about Biles before he met her, the hosts got a bit flabbergasted. Apparently, the couple appeared on the “Pivot Podcast” where Owens admitted that he thought “he was the catch.” Shannon Sharpe said that during this time, Simone Biles was the face of the Olympics, yet Owens had no idea who she was.

Unc took a jab at Owens, saying that he did not know what Jonathan Owens was doing on an app meant for famous people. Ocho added to the conversation by saying that Simone Biles is allowing Jonathan Owens to take the lead in their relationship and the rest of the world sees him as “Simone Biles’ husband.”

“This is how you know that you’re not the catch; when everybody refers to you as Simone Biles’ husband,” said Unc.

Despite being away from his husband for long periods, Biles makes sure that she shows up to the Packers’ games to cheer his husband. In the appearance the couple made on the “Pivot Podcast,” Biles said something that might invalidate Unc and Ocho’s opinions.

Simone Biles doesn’t mind if Owens takes a lead

Simone Biles is aware that the world sees her as the face of this relationship. However, Biles addressed the ‘Simone Biles’ husband’ remark. In the podcast, Randolph Channing Crowder Jr said, “He is one hell of a safety. But he is never going to be as good a safety as this one (Biles) is going to be at the gym.” Simone Biles had different opinions about this statement.

“You know what, he might. Because the other day I said, you know what, in a couple of years, nobody is going to call him, Simone Biles’ husband. They’ll call me Jonathan Owens’ wife,” said Biles, adding to the conversation.
