The Detroit Lions don’t particularly like Matthew Stafford after he left the high and dry and went to play for the LA Rams and won the Super Bowl. The Lions fans even wanted to ban Stafford’s jersey at Ford Field premises and put out that anyone seen with a Stafford Jersey should be fined. Eminem was the only one who was supportive of Stafford’s decision and now, he has a favor to ask of him.

The Lions are set to welcome the Rams at Ford Field and the tensions are running high amongst football enthusiasts. One would think that Eminem would not be happy with Stafford, but on the contrary, he practically asked Stafford to hand over the win. The request might have a lot of weight behind it for a lot of reasons. For one, the game is symbolic for the Detroit Lions because, for the first time in 31 years, the Detroit team is hosting its first home playoff game. The tweet just came out a few minutes ago and is quickly going viral.

After a controversial loss to the Dallas Cowboys, this game against their ex-QB and the LA Rams holds a lot of importance. The game is equally popular amongst the fans as the cheapest ticket is going for more than $400. However, the Lions are struggling with a lot of injuries and winning this game might be an uphill battle.

The struggling Detroit Lions

The heaviest blow for the team is the fact that Sam LaPorta is listed as questionable due to a knee injury and did not practice on Wednesday and Thursday due to a knee injury. However, he fully participated in the practice on Friday. So his chances of playing might not be that bad.

However, Lions’ LB James Houston, CB Jerry Jacobs will not be playing in the next game. Along with them, TE James Mitchell and WR Kalif Raymond will also take their absence from the game.
