The City of Los Angeles will be witnessing glamor like never before. The home stadium of Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, SoFi Stadium, is set to host its second Super Bowl in 2027. Since its opening in 2020, the stadium hosted its first Super Bowl in 2022. However, the Super Bowl is not the end for the City of Los Angeles.

Beyond the football frenzy, Los Angeles is set to become a hub for global sports. With hosting rights for the 2026 FIFA World Cup games and the 2028 Summer Olympics already secured, Los Angeles is ready to experience unprecedented action.

SoFi Stadium prepared for the Super Bowl 2027

After witnessing the Rams’ Super Bowl victory in 2022, the stadium is set to make history once again as it hosts its second championship game in just five years. Moreover, for this event ESPN and ABC will collaborate to simulcast the game, marking a historic moment for the cable network.

The Instagram account, Rapsheet, shared a picture of SOFI stadium by writing, “See you in 2027, LA.” Built at a price of $5.5 billion, the SOFI stadium will host the Super Bowl event. Apart from this, the sporting calendar for Los Angeles is packed with global events. Following the 2027 Super Bowl, the city is poised to host World Cup games in 2026 and the Summer Olympics in 2028.
