After skipping the Week 5 game, Taylor Swift made a comeback to the arena where it all began. The Week 6 game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos was historic, and to make it even better, Taylor Swift made an unexpected appearance to support Travis Kelce and his teammates. Interestingly, news of her arrival only came a few hours before the game, once tight end Kelce had received the green light to participate after his ankle injury.

The Chiefs had released their final injury report on Wednesday before the matchup, and the 34-year-old Kelce had been listed as ‘questionable,’ with limited practice for two days. However, as the game drew closer, roughly half a day before it, Kelce was cleared to play against the Broncos at Arrowhead. It was around the same time that news emerged about Swift attending the Chiefs game to support Kelce. While the team secured their 16th win against the Orange team, Kelce’s injury issue hasn’t been completely resolved.

Injured Kelce has alleged 48-hour plans with Taylor Swift

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce injured his ankle Sunday night against the Minnesota Vikings, prompting questions about how long it will take him to recover. Kelce went down on the turf after twisting his ankle while trying to make a catch pass by Patrick Mahomes in the first half. He limped off the field, had X-rays taken, and then returned to play in the second half with the ankle heavily wrapped.

Subsequently, he played in the next matchup against the Broncos, although he didn’t score any touchdowns. Just a day after it, a picture of him lying on a bed with his ankle under observation went viral online.

However, the reasons of the smile is possibly influenced by his alleged girlfriend Taylor Swift’s presence. Furthermore, according to some crazy assumptions by fans on social media, Tay-Tay might be spending another 48-hours, probably the whole weekend with Travis Kelce.

Travis Kelce felt like a basketball player

In a recent episode of his brother Jason Kelce’s podcast, “New Heights,” Travis Kelce discussed how he felt during the moment of his ankle injury in Minneapolis.

The Chiefs tight end shared, “I feel like a fu**ing jamoke, a grandpa, every single time I go out there and just injure myself. It was like basketball. You’re coming down off a rebound you just roll your ankle.

He continued, “It was unfortunate, you watch it in slow motion, my ankle kinda slips for a couple inches and then it finally grabs on the turf and that’s been the knock is that when you do slip you don’t just slip right through the grass.

He further explained that he knew he had to get checked to ensure the structural integrity of his ankle. So, he underwent multiple X-rays and then returned to the game at U.S. Bank Stadium, completing the matchup with his ankle heavily taped.

Before the injury, Kelce had five catches for 22 yards. Despite the injury, he persevered and added another five catches for 45 yards, ultimately scoring the game-winning touchdown.
