Dave Portnoy throwing shade at people is nothing new. In the latest episode of “Throwing Dirt at People with Dave Portnoy”, the Barstool Sports owner took shots at Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift. While football fans and Swifties are gaga over the football’s latest hot couple, some people are not very pleased. Be it Chris “Mad Dog” Russo, who in a video screamed, “Let me watch the damn football!” to Stephen A. Smith who thinks people should feel embarrassed for investing so much of their time and energy into a celebrity’s private matters.

Whenever Dave tweets, it’s claws out and someone is going to get hurt. In the past, he has taken digs at Jackson Mahomes and Travis Kelce as well.

Swift and Mahomes party a distraction?

Page Six recently reported that Taylor Swift was seen hanging out with Brittany Mahomes, Blake Lively, and Sophie Turner. Sophie Turner is also the recently divorced wife of Joe Jonas. And what connection does Joe have with Taylor? He was one of Taylor Swift’s earliest romantic flings. Dave Portnoy replied with a three-word cryptic jab. “This is bad“. While fans are still trying to wonder what exactly he means by it, we are sure it cannot be anything good.

People flooded the comments section of the tweet, throwing their theories at what the enigmatic message meant. Some wondered if Dave had bet on the Chiefs and this partying would be a distraction for them and he might end up losing his bet. Some straight-up called our Dave for being salty and taking unnecessary jabs at the two friends.

Dave Portnoy’s past antics

In 2019, Jackson Mahomes and Patrick’s then-fiancée, Brittany Mahomes claimed that they had been harassed by New England Patriots fans while they were cheering for the Chiefs. Jackson, being the TikTok influencer that he is, filmed himself and Brittany dancing on the field after complaining about security having to whisk them away to a ‘safe place’. Dave Portnoy captioned the video – “Is Patrick Mahomes Girlfriend and His Brother The Two Dumbest Humans On Earth? @jacksonmahomes.”

More recently, he appeared on the Flagrant podcast co-hosted by Akaash Singh and Andrew Schulz. He had this to say about Travis Kelce, “Sort of doofus… I don’t like Travis Kelce’s style at all. I think he’s a little bit cringey.”. He also threw an insult at the couple by saying that they “don’t look normal“.
