Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have taken on the news cycles like a juggernaut. For weeks leading up to the game against The Bears, it’s all that anyone could talk about. But murmurs changed into excitement as the broadcast showed Swift multiple times during the game in the Kelce box. One man who might be missing the attention and well-deserved one must be star QB Patrick Mahomes.

The two-time MVP speedster Mahomes is used to the accolades and interest from the masses. But must be feeling a bit left out when his on-field skills aren’t discussed as they have been in the past. Especially for the skill he displayed in the pocket against The Bears.

Mastery of the hands

The game is in its first quarter, tight, and no available spaces to get the ball forward, and the defense line guarding receivers on his dominant right hand. This was the situation that Mahomes found himself in and lesser QBs in the same condition would’ve done something dumb or lost the possession. Mahomes one of the highest-paid QBs in the history of the NFL, did something which was spectacular.

With The Bears’ defense keeping a close eye on the ball and Patrick’s dominant hand, it was impossible to be accurate in the forward pass. But, in less than a second, Mahomes switched from his right to his left hand and made the pass to Kelce with precise accuracy.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are beginning a new chapter in their lives as things move away from rumors to facts. One thing that everyone saw was how ecstatic she got when Kelce made the TD. And Mahomes made sure that his teammate had a moment to shine.

“I heard she was in the house,” Mahomes told Fox Sports after the game knowing that the 3 quarter TD was important for his teammate, 28-year-old further said about the connection between him and Kelce “I felt a little bit of pressure and so I knew I had to get it (ball) to Trav.”

The Kansas City Chiefs QB made sure once again with the brilliance of his passing accuracy that TE Kelce made the TD. “I think he wanted to get in the end zone just as much as all the Swifties wanted him to.”, Mahomes said with a laugh in the same interview.
