The rumored relationship between Travis Kelce and singer Taylor Swift has been making headlines. Swift was in attendance at Arrowhead Stadium this Sunday as the tight end’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs, took on the Chicago Bears and gave them a drubbing. Her presence fueled speculation about their relationship and had ramifications well beyond the playing field.

Just Swift’s move to attend the game has caused some serious changes to the Chiefs’ fandom. The number of Travis’s followers on Instagram increased dramatically, while the sales of his jersey skyrocketed. Also, as a result, Travis’s podcast topped the rankings on Apple.

In his podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, which he co-hosts with his brother — the NFL star Jason Kelce — he was seen talking about his relationship with Swift. He was teased on the show by Jason about the 12-time Grammy Award winner.

They had been avoiding the subject “out of respect” for his personal life, Jason said. “Now, we’ve gotta talk about it.

Yeah, my personal life that’s not so personal,” Travis said. “I did this to myself.

On the same show, Jason is seen praising his brother (“Big Yeti“) who ended up “leading” the team’s performance at Arrowhead Stadium. Insiders pointed out how he had stopped short of appreciating quarterback Patrick Mahomes, another of Chiefs’ stars.

Travis begins by calling the Chiefs game “crazy.” “It was just action-packed. People were screaming, people were chest bumping, people were high-fiving, banging on the glass, just doing everything.”

Among the people who indulged in such a show of support was, of course, Swift. Travis admitted to the fact that his life had not been the same since Sunday. He gave a shoutout to Swift for “pulling up,” which he thought was “ballsy.”

While talking about the game, Travis says that the Chiefs put on a “complete game”. His praise was for the defense. He called out Mahomes’s gameplay by saying that he dialed up and “spread” the ball around.

Even the offense was back in full-season mode, according to Travis. Here, Jason chimes in controversially, saying: “Pat spread the ball around, though the Big Yeti ended up leading the team.”

The comments came despite the camaraderie shared by Jason, Travis, and Mahomes, which was on full display on another episode of the podcast.
