On Sunday in week 7 of the NFL, the Denver Broncos are going to host Green Bay Packers at their home ground. Both teams are desperate for the win, but the Broncos are more desperate than the Packers as they haven’t won a game at home so far. However, for the Broncos, there is no pause to their struggle. Russell Wilson needs to push limits amid the injury report that depicts 6 absentees.

Russell Wilson-led Broncos is already in a very bad phase, unable to win games, which is already causing their fans to lose hope. A new misery has been added to their ever-growing struggle. Many important players are on the questionable list, which will make Wilson and Coach Sean Payton’s work more difficult.

What is the injury report saying about the Broncos’ situation?

In their final injury report, the Broncos have listed 5 players as unspecified, indicating that they haven’t assigned a game status. Meanwhile, Tight End Greg Dulcich is out due to a hamstring injury. Other important players who are on the list are Justin Simmons (S) and Kareem Jackson (S). Simmons was limited on Wednesday and Thursday but he participated in the Friday practice session. Jackson, who is suffering from a neck injury, had limited participation on Wednesday, but on Thursday and Friday, he was a full participant.

D. J. Jones (DT), who missed a game against the Kansas City Chiefs, attended practice sessions for the entire week, so he should be good to play. Linebacker Baron Browning was also a full participant for all the days, even though he was suffering from a knee/wrist injury. However, the Broncos would need to activate him from the Reserve/Injured list to the 53-man roster for him to play against the Packers. Lloyd Cushenberry, the center with a quad injury, was also a full participant for the entire week. The silver lining for the Broncos is that all 5 players were full participants on Friday, so they should be available for Sunday’s game.

Will the Broncos get the win they are desperately looking for?

After week 6, the Broncos are 1-5 in the league, whereas the Packers are 2-3. Interestingly, both have lost their previous two games. Both will set foot on the field to break this losing streak. For the Broncos, this game is more important as they aim to win a game on their home ground. However, in the NFL world, people are favoring the Packers over the Broncos.

Things are not that easy for the Packers, as they have listed 10 players on their final injury report. Out of these 10, one player is doubtful, whereas the others are questionable. The Packers played their last game on October 9th, so having so many players on the injury report is quite unusual. Jaire Alexander, Aaron Jones, and Elgton Jenkins are some of the important players among the nine questionable players. It is likely that Jones will be available for the game, as he has participated in practice. However, the participation of the other two players, Alexander and Jenkins, is doubtful as they both missed the Friday practice session.

The Broncos are still unable to resolve their issues. They have the worst defense in the NFL. However, if sometimes the defense performs better, the offense lags behind, which was the reason for their loss against the Kansas City Chiefs. If Wilson and Coach Payton don’t resolve this issue and improve both their offense and defense, it will be a difficult path for the already struggling Broncos.
