After Aaron Rodgers’ exit from the season, the Jets have now lost two games. Jets fans and NFL analysts are becoming impatient and frustrated with the team. Rodgers is telling fans to have faith in the team. Rich Eisen is one such analyst who wants to believe Rodgers, but he has his own concerns.

Due to the poor performance of the Jets, Zach Wilson is heavily criticized by the NFL world. Legendary quarterback Joe Namath is one of the individuals brutally criticizing the Jets and Wilson. Eisen has covered all these things in his latest episode of ‘The Rich Eisen Show’.

Rich Eisen expressed his thoughts on Rodgers’ advice to remain calm

NFL star Aaron Rodgers advised Jets’ fans to remain calm after the defeat against the Patriots. He was speaking on the Pat McAfee show. After the Jets’ poor performance, Rodgers came forward and asked current and former players, plus fans, to resist the urge to ‘point fingers.’ He said, “It’s a long season, we need to relax, let’s take a couple breath.” On his show, Rich Eisen went into great detail about the Jets’ performance.. Also, he reacted to Rodgers’ comments and expressed his desire to believe Rodgers, hoping that things will become better for the Jets

However, Eisen had his concerns, and he expressed them in a very different way by saying, “So I’m still here buying, trust me I want to buy it in the worst way.” Eisen is that NFL analyst who never hesitates to share his thoughts. “I just don’t want to be buying my third drink of wine in front of my children Sunday night walking out of the room cursing into a pillow because I’m trying to be a good dad”, He said.

Is Joe Namath’s reaction to the Jets’ performance too much?

In light of Rodgers’ unavailability, Zach Wilson is leading the Jets. He was once celebrated as the future of the franchise; however, he has now become the main target of frustrated fans. The 80-year-old NFL legend, Joe Namath, has become one of the fiercest critics of the Jets. After Sunday’s loss, Namath brutally criticized Wilson’s performance, calling it ‘disgusting.’

Rodgers made a point on the ‘Pat McAfee Show’ that by criticizing the team in adversity, fans, and former players are not ‘helping the cause.’ In NFL circles, many suggested that by ‘former players,’ Rodgers is referring to Namath.
