Even as Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill was grabbing the limelight with a back flip selfie, there was one more camera on a busy Sunday afternoon action elsewhere, which got the fans talking big time. A-Rod on the path to record-breaking recovery?

Right at the entrance of MetLife Stadium, Aaron Rodgers was seen walking without crutches and a few minutes later, the star Jets QB was seen gently throwing a football during the pregame as the Jets prepared to face off the Eagles. What does this indicate? Is Rodgers likely to return to action sooner than expected? Maybe.

The video shared by the NFL on X was aptly captioned “Incredible. 💚”. What looks more certain is that the Jets’ QB’s rehab is progressing incredibly well. Nobody expected Rodgers to return this season, but the latest developments could mean something else altogether.

The high-stakes signing for the Jets turned out to be anti-climactic after he was pulled out of action after tearing his Achilles tear during their season opener. That injury has dented the Jets’ prospects and the team has struggled to put together a meaningful offense. Meanwhile, fans flooded the comments section with their reactions to the video.

Fans stunned at Aaron Rodgers’ miraculous recovery

An Achilles tear has often been touted as a season-ending injury. Indeed, when A-Rod tore his Achilles, fans were in despair thinking that they had already lost this season. So it was obvious that this new video elicited extreme reactions from fans. @TheCryptoMentor was surprised and sarcastically, on a positive note, asked if he had even suffered the injury, “Did he even tear his Achilles? 😅😳”.

Picking on this theme, Brian Frye speculated that it was all part of the NFL’s script and proposed a conspiracy theory that people around him were speculating to be the reality behind the injury of the Jets’ QB.

@MiamiCluthPE acted as the voice of reason and said that he had hurt his foot, not his arm. So his throwing a football should not be that surprising, especially for an international star presumably trying to get back on the field as soon as possible.

Taking a subtle jab at A-Rod’s love for the “magic” drink ayahuasca, @TipoftheBanana said that his recovery was because of the herbal drink that the star enjoys as well.

Another fan specifically highlighted how Rodgers coming back into the game is a sign of him taking matters into his own hands for the situation the New York Jets have been in. Acknowledging the worthy presence of the QB, the spectator wrote:

Zach Wilson, who filled in for Rodgers has been shaky at best although he has come into shape over the last couple of weeks. Will the NFL legend’s presence be the talisman that will upset the Eagles’ 5-0 record? All eyes remain on the upcoming games.
