The Chiefs vs. Broncos game was not very eventful for an average football fan. After going up against a subdued 1-4 Broncos, Chiefs fans had expected a blowout win. After all, they had the best offense in the division and the team with the second-best offense, the Dolphins, managed to score 70 points against the Broncos. But Denver’s defense surprised the Chiefs team as well as Broncos fans by stopping the Chiefs at 19, with only one touchdown.

However, a major friendship was budding off the field, on the sidelines. After every field goal, fans were treated to an ecstatic Brittany Mahomes jumping and embracing an equally ecstatic Taylor Swift. After the match was over, Brittany took to Instagram to share a close-up of her new look.

Brittany Mahomes’ curls are something to die for

In her Instagram story, the owner of the Kansas City Current can be seen posing for the camera wearing a white shirt. The highlight, however, was her golden hair, which fell down to her shoulder in a hundred small curls. The story was captioned, “@LAURABETHARTISTRY @RPARTISTRYKC ALWAYS MAKING ME FEEL 🔥”. Laurabeth Cabott, her hairstyle artist, also made her hair look dashing for the Met Gala, Kentucky Derby, and Miami F1 earlier.

Brittany was also wearing these curls in the Broncos game, where she was sitting next to Taylor Swift. The $740 million songwriter and singer donned an oversized red, white, and black Chiefs windbreaker jacked by Wear by Erin Andrews. Oh, by the way, if you’re looking to buy those windbreakers for yourself, they are sold out at the moment. Taylor Swift was also once famed for her golden curls, so we’re wondering if Brittany’s special hairdo was in honor of her new friend.

Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes – an unlikely friendship

The friendship is as new for Brittany Mahomes as it is for Swift. She is the owner of a women’s soccer team, the Kansas City Current. And also a mom to two children – Sterling and Bronze. She and her 2x SB Champion husband, Patrick Mahomes had been high-school sweethearts and had been dating since March 2012. Taylor Swift, on the other hand, is a soon-to-be-billionaire with no ties to sport. She is also famous for having a vast dating history, with some of her former partners being the subject of her record-breaking songs. She also has 12 Grammy Awards to boast about.

What joins these two unlikely friends is their fierce independence. Both have their own business concerns and their beaus are also the best chums and play for the same team. This recent meeting comes two weeks after Brittany was spotted with Taylor for dinner in NYC. Taylor’s gal pals, Blake Lively and Sophie Turner, had also joined them. Fans are eagerly awaiting the Chiefs’ next game against the Los Angeles Chargers at their home stadium.
