It had taken Bryant 8 months before he was able to play at the hardwood court again. NBA All-Star Kevin Durant took 18 months to recover after he tore his Achilles in June 2012. However, Minnesota Vikings RB Cam Akers set the record when he returned to the gridiron field in just 5 months. So, can we expect to see A-Rod on the field in February, just before the playoffs?
Pat McAfee declared that we might see him for the playoffs, considering the Jets make it there without their star QB. But he might return sooner if Nathaniel Hackett, the Jets’ head coach, uses his shotgun. This will surely reduce the movement he has to make on the field, making his role more cerebral than physical.
