The Kansas City Chiefs have always been one of the most popular teams in the NFL, but they may have just gained a whole new fan base thanks to their star tight end, Travis Kelce. The six-time Pro Bowler and two-time Super Bowl champion has been linked to none other than pop sensation Taylor Swift, who was spotted cheering for him at the Chiefs’ game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

Swift, who has won 12 Grammy awards and sold over 200 million records worldwide, is known for her catchy songs and having a loyal fan base. This fan base has navigated with Swift through her career in different eras of her singing career. Not only that, but Swifties have also supported the pop star through her hardships and controversies. Now Swifties have something to cheer in the gridiron as well.

All too well for the Chiefs

The rumors of their involvement started when Kelce invited Swift to attend a Chiefs game during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show podcast last week. He said he had given her his phone number at one of her concerts and told her to come see him play at Arrowhead Stadium.

Taylor Swift apparently accepted the invitation, as she was seen sitting in Kelce’s family box with his mother, Donna, on Sunday. She wore a red-and-white Chiefs jacket and cheered enthusiastically for the team, right when Kelce scored a touchdown in the third quarter.
