Rough, but they managed to snatch a win. Fast forward to this week, and it’s like a whole different team took the field. Week 5, meet the new and improved Chiefs—they’re back in the game and ready to reclaim their throne.

This week’s showdown was extra special for the Kansas City Chiefs’ golden boy, Patrick Mahomes. It marked a historic first-time clash between Mahomes and the Viking’s star QB, Kirk “You Like That” Cousins. The stadium was buzzing with excitement!

However, the action didn’t end on the field. After the final whistle blew, something heartwarming unfolded right before our eyes. Mahomes and Cousins, two gridiron giants, shared a heartfelt hug. Meanwhile, on the sideline, Vikings HC Kevin O’Connell and the Chiefs’ head honcho, Andy Reid, were deep in a passionate football convo.

Mahomes and Cousins both made their mark in Peyton Manning and Netflix’s documentary, ‘Quarterback.’ The two didn’t share the screen, but now have finally met face to face, and it was a sight to watch. Not just Mahomes, but Kirk Cousins even had the pleasure of meeting his mother Randi Mahomes.

With Daddy Mahomes back in the house, the Chiefs snagged their fourth W of the season.

But it looks like the drama followed luck. In the second quarter, the Chiefs’ trusty tight end, Travis Kelce, took a spill on that artificial turf, suffering a leg injury. And this isn’t the first time it’s happened this season! With more and more players getting tangled up in the turf, the big question looms: What’s the NFL gonna do about it?
