The Baltimore Ravens? Oh, they’re sizzling like a perfectly grilled bratwurst this season. They’re strutting their stuff at a cool 3-1, and let me tell you, they just served the Cleveland Browns a heaping plate of humble pie on the gridiron, scoring 28-3. It was a beatdown so thorough that the Browns were practically eating turf for dessert. Todd Monken, the new offensive coordinator, has spiced things up with a pass-happy playbook that’s been simmering in the Ravens’ kitchen. Sure, the fireworks haven’t burst out on full display just yet, but a closer look at those Xs and Os suggests it shouldn’t be that surprising when the Ravens sound their war cry.

Back in 2019, Lamar Jackson was on the brink of becoming the next football legend. Well, fast-forward to today, and he’s still a force to be reckoned with. A Top 10 quarterback? Absolutely. A sight to behold on any given Sunday? You bet! Lamar’s got the Ravens flying high.

Talk about a wild rollercoaster ride this season for the Ravens! Injuries hit them like a blitzing linebacker, and players were dropping like flies faster than a QB’s spiral. Fast forward to Week 5, and it’s like a revival party at the practice camp! The Baltimore Ravens released their first injury report of the week, and fans all around got some great news. Odell Beckham Jr. is back in action after a two-week hiatus, nursing that ankle injury he picked up in the nail-biter against the Cincinnati Bengals. But he’s not alone in this comeback tour. Rashod Bateman, Keaton Mitchell, Marlon Humphrey, Jalyn Armour-Davis, and Ronnie Stanley are all strapping on their helmets and returning to the game.

Stanley, the human wall on the left, missed some serious action against the Browns and even skipped Friday’s practice. And let’s not forget Humphrey, who’s been MIA since August 15, thanks to some foot surgery at mid-camp. But now, with a full deck of cards back in the game, Lamar Jackson’s got a loaded arsenal ready to light up that scoreboard.

However, Lamar Jackson’s encounters with the Steelers have been rarer than a unicorn sighting. A few injuries and a pesky illness kept him on the sidelines for three games, and that’s left Ravens fans hungrier than a tailgater at halftime. This Sunday, it’s all about breaking that hat-trick drought! If the Ravens can bring the heat against the Steelers, it’s not just a touchdown in the win column but a chance to show the entire NFL they mean business.

Sure, taking down the Bengals and Browns is like clockwork for the Ravens, but conquering the Steelers for a third divisional victory is akin to threading a needle in the middle of a Hail Mary pass.
