A few weeks back, New York Jets‘s quarterback Aaron Rodgers got out of the game due to an injury during the match. The 4x MVP Rodger suffered a torn Achilles in the New York Jets season Opener. A torn Achilles is one of the most difficult injuries to recover from for any player, let alone for a 40-year-old.

Aaron Rodgers confirms his comeback this season

Aaron Rodgers had a close to five weeks’ break from the game due to a severe injury during the match against the Kansas City Chiefs at Metlife Stadium. The player is in rehabilitation, currently working on his recovery. Generally, on average, it takes 9-12 months to recover completely from an Achilles injury for a player.

However, the player has given confirmation of his comeback this year on Pat McAfee’s show. Pat had asked Rodgers if fans can expect his re-entry into the NFL sooner rather than later. Although Rodger finds it difficult to walk properly, his recovery is sightly easy for him.

Aaron has an injury on his left leg, which he doesn’t really push off when he throws. The 4x MVP has always expressed his desire to be back on the field soon and has now confirmed. Rodger said, “I’ll definitely be back for the next game but as you can see, I am in rehab right now”.

He said that his first goal is to be back on the field for the October game and practice without crutches.

NY Jets suffering without Rodgers

It won’t be wrong if we put it forth as the Jets are suffering without their QB Aaron Rodgers in the game. Zach Wilson, who replaced Rodgers, has also struggled. The Jets just scored 10 points in the loss against the Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots. Their offense has also been down ever since Aaron’s injury.

The Jets’ current QB Zach’s performance is also not very impressive. He has thrown 467 yards, and 2 touchdowns with four interceptions. We hope for the comeback of the Jets with Aaron’s re-entry into the game. Nonetheless, Rodgers is the best player, having been awarded NFL’s most valuable player four times in his 19-season career.

Despite the injury, Rodgers was never disconnected from the field and the team. He said: “It’s really just for me to be able to feel more normal, you know just to be back around the guys was incredible to be on the field without crutches, to be able to be on the sideline, to be on the headset. It made me feel like I wasn’t so separated from the team”.

On Pat McAfee’s show, he also confessed how the injury was tough and affected him not just physically but emotionally and spiritually. Aaron’s goal is to be back on the field and to be able to play without crutches. However, the player definitely to stay concentrated on his injury first.

A shopaholic and cat lover, I got introduced to the NFL because of my love for Patrick Mahomes. However, the more I explored the people surrounding him and his profession, I got interested in the NFL itself. Not more of an on court person, I prefer to explore the off court happenings related to the league. The people surrounding the NFL community and the everyday lives of players are very exciting to me. Other than exploring off court NFL drama and writing about it, I also am a professional henna artist. Despite having multiple interests, my favourite hobby happens to be spending time with my baby girl.
