Not only that, while most football fans are restricted to America, Taylor Swift has international appeal. Just one sign from her, and Swifties around the world will flood social media attacking Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs, and football for breaking their idol’s heart.

Taylor Swift also has another adversary to attend to: the reigning queen of Kansas City Chiefs, Brittany Mahomes. But that matter has come to a rest as the two recently sealed their friendship with shots at Kelce’s after-party. However, Kelce will not be able to get off so easily.

Travis is too deep in now to back out. Taylor has already met his mother and attended a Chiefs game. She is also going to be there at MetLife Stadium for the face-off against the New York Jets. Football fans as well as Swifties are keenly watching how this particular episode in the two’s lives will pan out.

Kelce’s former girlfriend Maya Benberry recently came out accusing Travis of cheating on her. She has also asked Swift to remain “vigilant”. While we must give Kelce the benefit of the doubt, he would do well not to be unfaithful to his new date. Taylor Swift may forgive him, but Swifties will never.

For now, all eyes will be on MetLife Stadium on October 1. Will Kelce impress his girlfriend by winning the match against the Bears? Or will he disappoint her?
