On the other hand, the Denver Broncos surely tried, but Sunday’s game between two previously winless teams was a reminder that no franchise can outdo the helplessness of the Chicago Bears. The Denver Broncos secured their first-season victory by 28-31, much to the relief of Mile-High City. 

Mahomes and Wilson: treading the fine line

Looks like Week 6 marked a change of landscape in the NFL. The best teams, like the Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins, played their poorest, while the underdogs, like the Broncos and the Jets, played their seasonal best. Russell Wilson, the comeback king, orchestrated an epic return at Soldier Field, connecting with Sutton for a sweet 13-yard touchdown pass in the clutch.

As Wilson celebrated his first touchdown of the season, his fans saw a much-awaited scene: a dangerous Pro Bowl QB back on the prowl. Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes pulled off a Houdini act at MetLife Stadium, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat with a slide. Quite literally! The 2x Super Bowl MVP dashed 15 yards and slid into first-down territory, sealing the deal in style.
