Captain Rodgers takes charge: Jets gear up for Chiefs clash

Appearing on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ Rodgers spoke about his recovery post-surgery as well as the Jets’ performance after his untimely exit and to say that he wasn’t happy is an understatement. But don’t mistake his frustration for anything less than pure determination. The NFL veteran went full-on Ted Lasso, channeling that infectious motivation and dropping some wisdom on his squad. “You win the game, that’s the most important thing, however you get it done. There’s been too many side conversations, we need to grow up a little bit on offense and do our jobs,”

And that’s not all! Rodgers laid it out plain and simple “We don’t point fingers, that’s everybody. We don’t point fingers at the coaching staff and don’t point fingers at each other.”
