The Dolphins returned to their home turf at Hard Rock Stadium after a stellar 2-0 start on the road, and what followed was nothing short of historic. 

In their home opener against the Denver Broncos, the Dolphins unleashed an offensive beast that shattered records and left fans in awe. However, that wasn’t the only highlight of the game. Soon, the record-breaking triumph was met with a sea of appreciation; one among them was also from Cheetah Tyreek Hill. The professional seemed to have a powerful out for his rivals.

The final scoreline read 70-20 in favor of the Dolphins, a dominant performance that etched their names in the franchise’s history. This 70-point tally surpassed their own historical record of 55, dating back to 1977. It fell just two points short of the Washington Commanders‘ 1966 NFL record of 72.

The Dolphins’ offensive firepower was on full display, amassing a jaw-dropping 726 total yards, a mere nine yards shy of the NFL’s single-game record. But the fans surrounding the team seemed focused on another matter, just as they were invested in the impressive records.

Tyreek Hill, known as “Cheetah” for his blazing speed, took to social media to deliver his compliments for the Miami Dolphins. However, the following line stole the limelight of the tweet. Issuing a powerful message, Hill tweeted, “Proud of this team, but we’re not done yet.”

 

It was quite visible that the footballer’s sentiments resonated with the unyielding spirit of the Dolphins. Despite their record-breaking performance, the team is far from satisfied with just a couple of wins.

The Miami Dolphins showcased their offensive prowess, defeating the Denver Broncos by a staggering scoreline of 70-20. De’Von Achane led the charge with an impressive 203 yards rushing; while Tua Tagovailoa’s no-look shovel-pass touchdown added to the Dolphins’ offensive spectacle.

Although, it is salient to note that Denver’s struggles continued as Russell Wilson’s efforts couldn’t keep pace with Miami’s scoring onslaught. Despite a kickoff return for a touchdown and some positives, the Broncos couldn’t find their footing, and first-year coach Sean Payton faced a challenging 0-3 start to the season, while the Dolphins celebrated a memorable victory for the ages.
