The Kansas City Chiefs are on a roll, racking up three straight wins. After a nail-biting 23-20 takedown of the New York Jets in Week 4, the Chiefs are flashing their Lombardi bling, not once but twice. And this season, they’re on a mission to make it big, bringing that shiny trophy home to Kansas City. However, Week 4 served up a slice of humble pie for the Chiefs and their head honcho, Andy Reid. When they squared off against the Jets in that epic MetLife showdown, it was like they had an off day at the tailgate. It was arguably not their best performance of the season. Even the QB sensation, Patrick Mahomes himself, threw a couple of interceptions.

But staying true to his ‘Magic Mahomes’ moniker, Mahomes waved his wand and conjured up a win in the end. So, while they may have stumbled, the Chiefs still know how to put on a show and get that W in style.

Before the big clash, in a classic pre-match powwow, the head honcho himself, Andy Reid, and a bunch of the players stepped up to the mic, giving us a sneak peek into their game plan. When the question about Patrick Mahomes’ response to that Jets stinger popped up, Travis Kelce didn’t miss a beat. He laid it out like a veteran playmaker,

“He’s dialed in man, he’s one the best quarterbacks to ever do this thing…being the best he can… I expect him to be Pat Mahomes baby, nothing less.” Now, if that doesn’t scream ‘tight-knit team,’ I don’t know what will!

Mustache magic & vax wars with Rodgers

Later in the interview, they threw Kelce a curveball by bringing up Aaron Rodgers, playfully dubbing him ‘Mr. Pfizer’ during his weekly chat on the ‘Pat McAfee Show’. Kelce, being the goofy charmer that he is, brushed off the jab with a grin, claiming that his mustache might have a Pfizer-esque vibe to it. He proudly got the jab to keep his family and himself safe, and he never thought he’d find himself in a vax war with Rodgers. So, he’s all good with the Mr. Pfizer title.
