Football season has made its much-anticipated return, and unfortunately, it brings the injury woes along with it. The most recent statistics reveal that, on average, there were 3.08 injuries per game during the 2020 season, with defensive players bearing the brunt, representing 53.7% of all injuries. Turning back the clock to the 2019 season, it’s troubling to note that there were a total of 47 reported concussions during NFL preseason practices.

Over the period from 2010 to 2013, NFL players were beset by an average of 53.5 new ACL injuries each season. This time around, the season has commenced with a range of injuries, spanning from minor setbacks to profoundly heartbreaking ones. One such injury was Aaron Rodgers‘ unfortunate debut game mishap, which may potentially mark the end of his career this season. However, this season has seen its fair share of additional injuries, with lists of casualties of Sunday circulating online.

Harris sustained the injury during the second quarter while attempting a rush on third-and-1 from the Buffalo 34-yard-line. He got hit in the neck area during a tackle between Bills right tackle O’Cyrus Torrance and Giants defensive end Bobby Ogkereke.
