Football is one of the more physical games than any other outdoor sport in the country. And, due to these playing standards, the physical aspect of an athlete becomes much more critical. This also gives rise to criticism from fans whenever a prospect lacks these aspects in the NFL Combine, Bryce Young, being one of these. On the other hand, a New York Jets offensive tackle has reportedly lost weight, during the off-season, down to around 350 pounds from 364 pounds at the NFL scouting combines in 2020. He has been sharing videos and photos of himself working out with Arnold Schwarzenegger and former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.

This is an encouraging sign for an offensive tackle, who has struggled with injuries during his two years in the NFL, missing all of last year due to injury after playing just 48 total snaps in his rookie season.

Meanwhile, in a post shared by Francis Ngannou, on Twitter, expressed that meeting the legendary Schwarzenegger was an honor and meeting Becton was a pleasure. It is to be noted that Arnold Schwarzenegger looks physically smaller compared to NFL star Makai Becton and former UFC champion Francis Ngannou. Schwarzenegger, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time, shared his reaction to being outsized by these two athletes in a recent Twitter post.

“It was my honor, even though you guys made me look like a little chicken.” Arnold reacted to the post.

Despite his impressive bodybuilding career, Schwarzenegger acknowledged that Becton and Ngannou’s physical size made him look like a “little chicken” in comparison.

The Jets have the decision to make regarding Becton’s fifth-year option, which they must exercise a few days after the 2023 NFL draft. The choice is worth $13.6 million and is guaranteed if exercised. The expectation is that the Jets will decline the option, making the upcoming 2023 season a contract year for Becton.

After the season, the Jets will have several options, including franchising Becton, giving him a long-term deal, or releasing him into free agency if he performs poorly.
