Standing at a proud 6’6″, the Clemson Tigers quarterback rose to fame thanks to his incredible performances in his freshman year.
Guiding the team to an undefeated season, Clemson handed Alabama its heaviest defeat (44-16) in the Nick Saban-era during the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship game.

Since then, the quarterback’s draft stock has only been rising. Now heading into the draft, the quarterback is slated to be the #1 overall pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Trevor Lawrence, however, will not be attending the draft day event in Cleveland. Instead, the QB said he’ll be watching the event on TV with his friends and family.

Parents led Trevor Lawrence to success
Primarily raised in Cartersville, Georgia, Trevor Lawrence grew up with his parents and older sibling Chase. The two also have a 9-year-old sister named Olivia.
Trevor’s parents, Amanda and Jeremy Lawrence have played a huge role in molding the quarterback’s career. In fact, it was with his father that Trevor Lawrence first started watching football at the age of 3.

Watching SEC games piqued Trevor’s interest in the sport. Later, both father and son would attempt games as well. It’s with his dad that Trevor Lawrence first started throwing a football in the backyard pretending to be his childhood idol, Peyton Manning.

Recognizing Trevor’s talent at a young age, Jeremy Lawrence hired a quarterback trainer in 8th grade to work with Trevor during the offseason.
Another thing Trevor can be thankful to his dad for is his height. Standing at a towering 6’7″, Jeremy Lawrence is much taller than a usual American. Currently, Jeremy works as a safety and environmental manager at Gerdau.

Trevor’s mother played a key role in Trevor’s career as well. One of his biggest motivators, Amanda always pegged Lawrence on to reach for the stars. She even helped the quarterback through during his early days as a celebrity.
A lot of expectations will be riding on the shoulders of Trevor Lawrence when he enters the NFL in 2021. But with support from his family, the QB will look to ensure he exceeds them.
