Zappe and his sweetheart, Hannah Lewis, first crossed paths during their time at Houston Baptist from 2017 to 2020. After a beautiful journey as high school sweethearts spanning six years, they finally took the next step in their relationship and got engaged on Sunday.

In a truly enchanting moment, Zappe gracefully knelt on one knee and asked Hannah to be his partner for life. Eager to share their joy, the couple took to Instagram, posting a picture of the heartfelt moment along with a captivating caption, announcing the news to their fans and the entire NFL community. The accompanying photo captures the magical moment of the ring proposal, with Hannah radiantly dressed in a white dress and Zappe looking dashing in a white shirt and black pants. Hannah’s academic pursuits led her to graduate with a degree in Business Administration and Management. Additionally, she showcased her athletic abilities by earning a two-year letter in volleyball.

Afterward, she embarked on a professional journey as a medical assistant at Lewis Pain and Physical Medicine, a general medicine clinic in Massachusetts. Both Zappe and Hannah actively engage with their followers on social media platforms, and upon sharing their special day post, an outpouring of heartfelt well-wishes and love from fans and followers ensued.
