Bailey Zappe, the talented American football quarterback for the New England Patriots, recently popped the question to his long-time girlfriend in a truly dreamy fashion. On Sunday, he took to his social media account to share a glimpse of their special proposal day.

The 24-year-old rookie quarterback, Zappe, was one of the most prolific passers during his senior season at Western Kentucky. Standing at 6’1″ tall, Zappe began the 2022 NFL season as an inactive third-stringer for the first three weeks. However, in Week 4, he had a sudden start that marked his debut in the league. He also replaced Mac Jones of the Patriots when Jones threw a bad interception. And now, he is engaged to the person whom he met in his high school.

It’s a dreamy day for Hannah!

Zappe and his sweetheart, Hannah Lewis, first crossed paths during their time at Houston Baptist from 2017 to 2020. After a beautiful journey as high school sweethearts spanning six years, they finally took the next step in their relationship and got engaged on Sunday.

In a truly enchanting moment, Zappe gracefully knelt on one knee and asked Hannah to be his partner for life. Eager to share their joy, the couple took to Instagram, posting a picture of the heartfelt moment along with a captivating caption, announcing the news to their fans and the entire NFL community. The caption accompanying the post simply reads, “Zappe Ever After?”

The accompanying photo captures the magical moment of the ring proposal, with Hannah radiantly dressed in a white dress and Zappe looking dashing in a white shirt and black pants. Hannah’s academic pursuits led her to graduate with a degree in Business Administration and Management. Additionally, she showcased her athletic abilities by earning a two-year letter in volleyball.

Afterward, she embarked on a professional journey as a medical assistant at Lewis Pain and Physical Medicine, a general medicine clinic in Massachusetts. Both Zappe and Hannah actively engage with their followers on social media platforms, and upon sharing their special day post, an outpouring of heartfelt well-wishes and love from fans and followers ensued.
