On Thursday, Young posted a short Instagram collaboration reel with Sutter Health, marking a new phase in their nearly decade-long partnership. The initiative focuses on youth wellness, expanding access to girls’ flag football, and helping children build healthy habits early in life.

“We’re kicking off something special. 🏈 @sutterhealth is teaming up with Pro Football Hall of Famer Steve Young and the @foreveryoungfoundation to champion youth health and wellness across Northern California,” the caption read.

Through this partnership between Sutter Health and Forever Young Foundation, he aims to provide young people with opportunities to stay active, build confidence, and develop healthy lifestyles beyond the hospital setting.

In the reel, Young explained why the partnership continues to be meaningful. “I’m all about building great teams and finding the right partner,” he said. Highlighting programs like Sophie’s Place music therapy space at Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento, Young shared his excitement about expanding the collaboration further.

He also emphasized that increasing access to girls’ flag football and youth wellness initiatives is especially close to his heart, having seen firsthand how sports positively impact health, particularly through his own two daughters.
