The Green Bay Packers fans are still recovering from the tragic upset against the 49ers two days ago and George Kittle’s words end up rubbing salt in the wound. The tight end for the 49ers was a part of the monumental squad that defeated Green Bay and now boasts of the team’s glory in the newest interview.

The NFL divisional round saw the battle of the giants when the San Franciso 49ers took on the Green Bay Packers. After a close score of 24-21, the 49ers ended up vanquishing the might of the Packers and dashing their dreams of a Super Bowl to the ground. Now as the 49ers celebrate a step closer to the trophy, Kittle drops a major ‘f-bomb’ on Pat McAfee’s show while referencing their massive win over the Packers.

On the latest episode of the Pat McAfee show, George Kittle made an appearance to talk about the team’s success on 21st January against the Packers. The segment took a turn for the better when Pat asked Kittle if he’d ever heard AJ Hawk, one of the co-hosts, use the f-word before. To which, Kittle replied by saying, “The only time I think I’ve heard him say it is when the Packers lost to the 9ers’ again.” This answer invoked a lot of laughs from the room, but Kittle wasn’t done yet.

He continued by saying, “I know it doesn’t have an effect on you because you don’t play there anymore so doesn’t really affect you but still fun. Hey, where’s Ty at?” Ty Schmit is another of the hosts on the show who responded by saying, “Yeah, you son of a b**** George, it’s so hard being a Packers fan.” With his concluding words, Kittle raised his middle finger and said, “You see this? Hey, Go Packs, Go the f*** home!” The dig was especially cruel since Schmit had used these exact words a night before when the Packers witnessed their crucial defeat.

Ty Schmit gets called out by George Kittle for his tweet in support of the Packers

The Green Bay Packers were riding a lot on their match against the 49ers. If not for a 3-point loss, they could’ve qualified for the NFL divisional round and hopefully go all the way to the finals. Moreover, Packers’ QB Jordan Love is widely considered to be better than 49ers’ QB Brock Purdy, but even he wasn’t enough to snatch a victory for his team. In response to all the mixed opportunities and poor performances, this is what Schmit had to say with his tweet.

Schmit wrote, “Haven’t processed that the Packers should’ve absolutely won last night. Too many mistakes in critical moments. Disappointed/devastated for sure, but I take solace in knowing that was more the beginning of something than the end. Next year should be fun #GoPackGo” His last few words, “GoPackGo”, were the same words that Kittle used to mock him brutally.  Lastly, Schmit was caught saying “Hey, we all know you guys should’ve lost the game. It’s okay. Good teams win. That’s what they do.” To which, Kittle responded, “Hey, I guess we’ll never know!” The Packers would be disappointed no doubt, but with such a close defeat, they can hold out to hope for a better performance next season.
