The Colorado Buffaloes head coach, Deion Sanders, brings a unique blend of skills to NFL analysis due to his elite playing experience. He translates complex plays for viewers and isn’t afraid to critique with a fiery passion that keeps things interesting. However, his showmanship sometimes overshadows pure analysis, allowing others to get back at him.
Though Coach Prime’s analysis is well respected in the NFL fan universe, his recent tweet has come under criticism from fans after he hastily posted screenshots to prove his claim. Interestingly, the drama on the internet stems from Adam Schefter’s comments on Rams DT Aaron Donald.

Coach Prime’s tweet to support Adam Schefter didn’t go too well with fans, as they started criticizing him for his lack of attention to detail. One fan tweeted, “Might wanna check the date posted on that reply big fella. With attention to detail like this, it’s no wonder you went 4-8 last year,” referring to Colorado Buffaloes’ 4-8 win-loss record from the 2023 season. Another fan noticed the date of the tweets and tweeted, “How yall get “1D” tweets from 2014? Aint no way someone kept those tweets screenshotted this entire time lol.“

The context of Deion Sanders’ tweet dates back to 2014 when Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald joined the Los Angeles Rams. NFL analyst Adam Schefter supported Donald in 2014 when fans criticized the Terminator. Hence, fans were calling out Aaron Donald, too, in the assumption of biased reporting or media support. But Donald proved the fans wrong with his performance by becoming stable in their lineup and helping them win a Super Bowl in 2022. After his recent retirement announcement, he is destined to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
