Is Kirk Cousins dealing with a season-ending injury?

Kirk Cousins has put his name in the GOAT QB after the retirements of Brady and Manning. Perhaps not the biggest player of his generation but his record in Prime-Time knockouts is amazing! Nonetheless, he’s also susceptible to injuries. Cousins’ recent injury came in the fourth quarter. With about 10 minutes to go in the quarter, the QB decided to make a play by stepping up in the pocket on a third down. As his right leg got buckled with Packers DT Kenny Clark sacking him, Cousins was immediately booted off the field.

He said, “It just hurts to know that he’s more than likely not going to be able to continue progressing forward on what has really felt like maybe his best season as a pro.”

Cousins is at the peak of his powers, entering Week 8 with the most TDs (16) in the running season. And with second in terms of passing yards (2,057). Hopefully, it’s just a regular injury with nothing scary for the GOAT QB.

"If at night you see your team losing or you wake up with the news of your team winning. Words will always be there sharing your emotions through thick and thin!" I've always had a strong connection with words. They've given me the passage to express my emotions from starting as a 7th grader writing poems in school to now writing articles based around leaders like Deion Sanders. My association and vocabulary with words have grown tremendously. Joining ES as an NFL and NCAA-focused writer has provided me with terrific opportunities. It has helped me understand the mindset of the GOAT Tom Brady, learn how Patrick Mahomes is writing his legacy, and watch Kirk Cousins push himself year after year. I resonate with the QBs- their aura, gameplay, and just the toughness to get hit and keep rising! Apart from writing, I love writing poetry and fine-tuning my muscles in a bid to get the perfect QB physique! - Jyot Singh Bindra, NFL author at ES.
