“I’m living my truth,” Gisele Bundchen opens up on her life after Tom Brady split

Gisele Bundchen spoke to the host Robin Roberts honestly and passionately about her journey of self-discovery, sharing the profound lessons she has learned along the way. She mentioned how her past experiences have shaped her. “Everything I’ve experienced, it made me realize what I want and what I don’t want. I think when you’re younger you try to accommodate and I think what I learned in my life is about clear current communication. I learn now how to communicate better,” she said, her voice full of purpose and clarity.

She then added how she wants to be truthful to herself. “We also get raised saying, like, oh, you have to, you know, say these things or act a certain way, so then, you want to be liked. But ultimately, you know, if you’re not being truthful to who you are, then it doesn’t work,” the supermodel said.

Tom Brady and Bündchen stayed married for 13 years before their divorce in 2022. In the interview, titled ‘Gisele Bündchen, Climbing the Mountain’ which is available on Hulu, her emotional state was visible when referring to the divorce as the “death of my dream.” A tearful Bündchen had to pause and asked, “Sorry, guys, I didn’t know… Can I have a little moment?”

She then mentioned, “What could have killed me gave me a whole new life.” Her comments in the interview come a week after the Daily Mail reported that Tom Brady’s camp believes that Bündchen’s connection with her jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente, started before their divorce was finalized.

Last year in December Brady shared a quote by Muhammad Ali on his Instagram that read, “For what is a man? A man is his heart. A lying cheating heart means a lying cheating man. A loving merciful heart means a loving merciful man.
