Antonio Brown’s rollercoaster controversy ride is never-ending. He followed his controversy-marred post-playing career with an equally debatable lifestyle, especially in his social media handling. His explicit rants online have gotten him in trouble more than enough times, including how he got into trouble with the Swifties and how it led to WNBA star Caitlin Clark blocking him.

Everyone is a likely target for Antonio Brown’s controversial digs. And who is safe when he exposes himself? He recently let his news platform CTESPN announce that he has filed for bankruptcy. Hours later, he found himself in another deep soup with an NFL player.

Philadelphia Eagles safety CJ Gardner-Johnson took offense at the controversy kingpin Antonio Brown’s remark. And most people would feel the same if someone degraded their new song. The 26-year-old recently released a new song titled, “Motion” as posted by Eagles Nation who welcomed opinions with “How’s it sounding?” Brown, the controversial critic, brutally posted, “Trash.” Following this remark, Gardner-Johnson expressed his disapproval of Brown in an X post that read, “Bra don’t play w me… straight up! CJ Gardner-Johnson’s reaction to Antonio Brown’s degrading review is understandable. Aside from entering his sixth season in the NFL, he is also a rising rapper who has released several songs on his YouTube channel including “STARS,” “Rich Problems,” and “Phil Jackson,” among others. Brown, on the other hand, has no end to controversies, usually fermenting animosity with famous entities and breaking the internet with wild news. But could this dig be a vengeful comeback for what happened in 2022?

CJ Gardner-Johnson trolled Antonio Brown’s past performance

In July 2022, Antonio Brown took the honor of performing at Rolling Loud in Miami. While he garnered a lot of support and appreciation from so many people, his performance in a bright latex outfit didn’t impress CJ Gardner-Johnson who later tweeted, “Smh bra lost it, this not it.” This response drew mixed comments with DE Cameron Jordan siding with Brown by commenting with some crying-laughing emoji.

Gardner-Johnson even went to the point of exclaiming his disapproval by tweeting on Jordan’s post “Stop cause if you support that then ima drop a crazy video of me performing.”

Jordan isn’t the only Brown supporter. Chiefs receiver Mecole Hardman also responded, “Lol I think it’s lte tho.” As tense as the beef between the two rappers seems, this kind of heated rivalry between budding rappers is not uncommon. We can only hope that it will not leave a permanent scar on either of them.
