As both Arnold Schwarzenegger and AJ Hawk began smoking cigars, Pat McAfee apologized for smoking a cigarette and when asked why by the Terminator, he replied, ?Well, because you?re Arnold Schwarzenegger and I?m not doing exactly what you?re doing.? Needless to say, Pat McAfee looks up to the legend as one of his heroes citing his Netflix docuseries as a major source of inspiration.?

Although he played for the Indianapolis Colts from 2009 to 2016, it was wrestling that was always in Pat McAfee’s mind. From his early years, he had dreamed of becoming a professional wrestler saying, “I used to sit in my room?I grew up in a very blue-collar family, and every Monday night was my escape? And you’d hear ” The Rock” and his persona and his image, and Triple-H, Stone Cold?those are the guys I wanted to be.”

Finally, in 2017, he trained with Rip Rogers for a brief period as a professional wrestler and began his career in WWE in 2018 as a pre-show analyst. His first pro wrestling opponent Adam Cole admitted Pat McAfee was a natural as he praised his in-ring ability. He expressed his thoughts saying, “I think between his athletic background, his gift of gab, and his love and appreciation in years and years and years of watching it.”?

Given his undying love for bodybuilding, it’s not surprising why Pat McAfee is awed by Arnold Schwarzenegger. After all, who wouldn’t be inspired by a popular actor who not only won Mr. Universe but also went on to become the governor of California??
